MOTHER-OF-PEARL, also known as nacre, comes from the cultivation of mollusks in tropical seas and Australia. It is a natural, hard, and iridescent organic material that lines the interior of shells. Composed mainly of calcium carbonate, it stands out for its pearlescent luster.
